Dr. José Eugenio Colón

Dr. José Eugenio Colón is an endometriosis and minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon. He provides minimally invasive surgical care for pelvic pain and endometriosis and specializes in laser excision surgery (LAPEX), which he uses as the primary surgical treatment for endometriosis.

His research interests include pelvic pain, evidence-based and multidisciplinary endometriosis treatment, and the development of algorithms for the management and follow-up of endometriosis.

He is an associate physician at the Center for Endometriosis Care. In the Dominican Republic, he is part of the EFS Gynecology and Obstetrics team at Medical Net in Santo Domingo. He is committed to improving healthcare access for the Latin American community and to promoting medical tourism.
