Dr. Gaby Moawad

Dr. Gaby Moawad is a board-certified gynecologic surgeon whose practice focuses on minimally invasive gynecologic surgery with laparoscopic and robotic techniques. He is the founder of CEAPS.

He is Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Director of Robotic Gynecologic Surgery at The George Washington University and co-director of an AAGL/ASRM fellowship, where he teaches other medical professionals how to approach complex conditions. He has contributed to a variety of publications and has spoken nationally and internationally.

Washingtonian named him a Top Doctor in the Washington, DC area (2015–2019). He received the AAGL Award for Excellence in Endoscopic Procedures from the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) and, in 2019, a grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as co-principal investigator for research on a non-invasive biomarker of uterine fibroid outcomes.
