Dr. Eduardo Cárdenas Meave is a general and digestive surgeon with specialized expertise in minimally invasive techniques and over 200 personal laparoscopic intestinal and colorectal procedures. He earned his medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara and completed his General Surgery residency at the Universidad de Guanajuato, followed by advanced laparoscopic training at Hospital Ángeles de Tijuana — one of Mexico's foremost internationally accredited surgical centers.

Dr. Cárdenas deepened his expertise in complex pelvic and bowel surgery through a fellowship with Dr. William Kondo at Hospital das Nações in Curitiba, Brazil — the same institution where EndoGlobal's surgical approach was forged. He has further expanded his training through pelvic anatomy coursework at Saint Louis University and active participation in international congresses including AMCE and IFSO.
